Respected sports journalist Sam Edmund has officially joined the SEN team as Chief Sports Reporter.
Expect to hear Sammy in his regular spot with SEN Breakfast, as well as on SEN’s Whateley, Dwayne’s World and breaking news across SEN.com.au and the SEN App, while featuring in the AFL Record.
Edmund said he is excited to join what is a growing news team.
“The opportunity to grow here is going to be massive for me. I’ll spend a bit of time here for SEN, a bit of time for the AFL Record, there’ll be a bit of television involved for the Oval Office.
“The ability and the opportunity to work in all three mediums is something that really appealed to me.
“At the end of the day we just enjoy in our craft telling people things that they don’t already know, so we’re looking forward to delivering some big news across SEN this year.”
After two decades with the Herald Sun, Edmund officially commences his new role next week.
