See his predictions below:

Biggest improver: Melbourne

“I have Melbourne. I think they go from five wins to 13 or 14 and finish on the cusp of the top four.”

Biggest slider: Brisbane

“They’re going to go from second in the home-and-away season to missing the eight. History would say one team from the top four misses finals the next year, I think it is Brisbane.”

Brownlow: Patrick Cripps (Carlton)

“I think Carlton wins some more games and he will be the star of the show in there.”

Rising Star: Izak Rankine (Gold Coast)

“I think (Matt Rowell’s) teammate who we know well and we have forgotten about him a little bit is Izak Rankine. If he can get fit. I’ve read some reports that he's still injured, but I want to see him get to work. He’s a future star.”

Coleman Medal: Josh Kennedy (West Coast)

“I think they’re going to win a lot of games. He looks fit, he looks ready and he’s a star.”

Game you’re most looking forward to: Round 10 Adelaide versus Carlton

“Eddie Betts coming home. I’m really looking forward to the reception he gets and I’m sure the fans will be right behind him.”

Big season prediction: The Crows will open the season 0-6

“The Crows will open the season 0-6. Have a listen to this. Sydney at home, 50-50. Port Adelaide, they probably start underdogs in that one. Brisbane, Richmond, Essendon at home and they could easily win that and then St Kilda away before they play Gold Coast in Round 7.”

Bottom two teams: Gold Coast and Adelaide
