The start of the AFL season is in doubt but worry not, they have a video game coming to fill the void.
AFL Evolution 2 will launch on April 23rd on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC via Steam.
The game has had a rocky development period and was expected to be released in time for the 2019 season.
The AFL delayed the release “due to some final technical fine-tuning and fan feedback”.
Carlton co-captain Patrick Cripps will serve as the cover athlete for the game and the game will feature the AFLW competition, as well as VFL, SANFL, WAFL, NEAFL and NAB League.
SEN’s own Anthony Hudson and Garry Lyon serve as commentators for the game.
It’s the first AFL video game since 2017’s AFL Evolution, which received mixed-to-poor reviews.
