Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury quarantined for flu-like symptoms

2020-03-16T10:52+11:00

Collingwood captain Scott Pendlebury is experiencing flu-like symptoms and has been quarantined away from teammates.

The Pies are yet to make a statement on whether he has been tested for COVID-19, nor have they commented on his availability for Friday night’s opening round clash with the Western Bulldogs – should it go ahead.

Pendlebury is not at training today and was not there on Friday either.

He will undoubtedly be tested for coronavirus, with the results paramount in determining the next step.

Collingwood has confirmed Jaidyn Stephenson (hand) and Taylor Adams (hip) are fit to take on the Bulldogs on Friday.

More to come.
