GWS defender Heath Shaw has always been a vocal character who isn’t shy in expressing his emotions on the field.
But with AFL games now played behind closed doors due to the coronavirus, Shaw is worried he may say something that gets picked up during the coverage that could land himself in trouble.
“I must admit, I’m a little bit more concerned after watching the game last night,” Shaw told SEN Breakfast.
“I’m a bit concerned I might say something on the coverage and I could get myself in a little bit of trouble.
“A few of the boys have mentioned it this morning. I’m a little bit concerned going into Round 1 for that reason.”
The prospect of being in self-isolation is something Shaw would struggle to deal with.
“Being in confined spaces is not my ideal situation," the veteran Giant said.
"My housemate, Stephen Coniglio, would probably move out I would have thought.”
GWS open their 2020 campaign against Geelong at Giants Stadium on Saturday night.
