Steven returns to Geelong training "feeling good"

2020-05-25T09:58+10:00

Geelong midfielder Jack Steven has returned to club training on Monday after he was stabbed last weekend.

The four-time St Kilda best and fairest winner checked himself into hospital early on Sunday morning a week ago with a stab wound in the chest, with details still murky about the exact nature of the incident.

Steven said he was “feeling good” as he walked into Kardinia Park this morning.

“It’s good to be back. I can’t wait to get back into it,” he told reporters.

“(I’m feeling) nice and healthy.”

AFL teams return to contact training on Monday as the run to the season return on June 11 ramps up.
