Injury-prone Bombers forward Orazio Fantasia has suffered yet another injury setback.
According to AFL Media’s Callum Twomey, the 24-year-old suffered a quad strain during a training session on Saturday.
The report states he's unlikely to face Sydney at the SCG in round two.
Fantasia has suffered multiple soft-tissue injuries in the past few years, restricting him to just 29 games since 2018.
But the speedster played in round one, collecting six touches during Essendon’s narrow win over Fremantle.
Scans are expected to reveal the severity of the injury in the coming days.
The South Australia native becomes a restricted free agent at the end of 2021.
