2020-06-19T15:00+10:00

SENTrack in Wollongong 1575 AM and Gosford 801 AM welcomes a new breakfast show on Monday 22nd June – hosted by rugby league personalities Joel Caine and Jimmy Smith.

‘Breakfast with Joel and Jimmy’ will feature interviews with some of the biggest names in sport and racing and provide a local lead into each day’s racing coverage Monday – Thursday, 6.30-8.30am.

The pair said they were excited to share their mornings with local sports fans – which will include Sydney listeners on the new SENTrack planned for Sydney 1539 AM.

“With the NRL back with a bang, and fans craving sport, we can’t wait to give listeners their morning sports fix,” said footballer turned commentator Smith. Joel Caine who played for the Balmain Tigers, the Wests Tigers and remains the highest ever points scorer for West Tigers, said he was thrilled to be joining SENTrack.

“I can’t wait to join Jimmy bright and early to discuss the day’s sporting agenda and all the hot topics across chasing, pacing and racing. It’ll be heaps of fun and I’m sure we’ll have a lot of laughs along the way,” said Caine, the former goalkicking winger/fullback.

Racing takes centre stage each day after breakfast, with SENTrack offering racing fans previews, analysis, insights and reviews of key races across the country along with interviews with owners, breeders, trainers and jockeys.

As well as the day’s racing coverage from around the country - listeners in Wollongong and Gosford get to drive home with Kangaroo and Raiders legend Gary ‘Badge’ Belcher and Penrith premiership star Scott ‘Satts’ Sattler who bring their much-loved Sportsday show to the airwaves from 6-7pm each weeknight.

“Along with Badge, we are super excited to be reaching new listeners in Wollongong and Gosford with our show as we especially love connecting with NRL’s rich fan base in regional areas,” Sattler said.
