Tim Watson is yet to be convinced by the Sydney Swans in 2020, despite winning two of their three games this season.
John Longmire’s side bounced back from their narrow defeat against the Bombers in Round 2 to beat North Melbourne at Marvel Stadium last Saturday.
Watson said he was yet to see anything to suggest the Swans were the “real deal” this season.
“I’m not convinced yet (about Sydney),” he said on SEN Breakfast.
“You get that consistent effort of performance, but I’m not convinced that they’re the real deal in any way.
“They beat a poor team in Adelaide on the road, they got beaten at home by Essendon and then they did a good job against North Melbourne at the weekend but I’m still not convinced.
“I think the Bulldogs with the momentum, they’re on a bit of a roll now, and I think they could (beat) them.”
Sydney face the Western Bulldogs at the SCG on Thursday night in another replay of the memorable 2016 Grand Final.
