Carlton forward Jack Silvagni has been taken to hospital following a knock to his rib.
Silvagni's night came to a premature end early in the first term when Zach Merrett knocked the 22-year old's ribs as he kicked.

Carlton's number one did not return to the field following the incident.
The Blues led the Bombers by eight points at half time. Zach Merrett remained on the field and had 12 disposals to the main break.
