Collingwood's Jordan De Goey has been charged with one count of indecent assault.
The incident is alleged to have occured in 2015.
"At Collingwood’s insistence, and with full co-operation from De Goey, the matter was investigated by the AFL Integrity Unit and Victoria Police in 2018. No charges were laid," a club statement read on Saturday afternoon.
"De Goey will remain in the Collingwood football program while the legal process takes its course.
"Neither Collingwood nor De Goey is in a position to make further comment."
Fox Footy reported a 24-year-old man was also charged in relation to the same incident.
