Collingwood forward Jordan De Goey could miss the Magpies clash with Hawthorn at Giants Stadium on Friday night.
The Sunday Herald Sun reports the 24-year old will have to provide two negative coronavirus tests before he can rejoin the football program after the AFL confirmed De Goey had attended a police station.
De Goey has been charged with indecent assault relating to an alleged 2015 incident.
Collingwood intends to fly to Sydney on Sunday, which puts De Goey in a race against time to pass the necessary tests.
The Magpies confirmed De Goey will remain in the club's football program as the legal process plays out.
Following their trip to Sydney, Collingwood will fly to a hub in Western Australia.
