Hawthorn defender Jarman Impey made a successful return via a scratch match against GWS on Saturday morning.
Impey tore his ACL in 2019 after a strong period making the move into defence for the Hawks.
According to the club’s Twitter account, the rebounding defender got through the game and impressed.
Been very solid. Has showed a lot of courage, backing into contests, and has provided great rebound offensively as well.

Jarman and CJ are providing great bounce off our half-back line. A strong start from both of them in their return games.

GWS won the scratch match, though it’s hard to know how seriously to take results in these games.
Hawthorn will be hoping to get Impey back in the team as soon as possible, based on Luke Hodge’s analysis of their loss to Collingwood on Friday night.
