“I’m not a big subscriber”: Whateley and Cornes rank their top four seeds

2020-09-07T16:18+10:00

Gerard Whateley and Kane Cornes have delivered their weekly seedings of the teams they believe can win the 2020 AFL premiership.

Whateley and Cornes both have Geelong and Richmond at seeds one and two respectively ahead of their mouth-watering clash on Friday night.

Collingwood has dropped out of Whateley’s seeds with Brisbane sliding into fourth spot after their low-scoring win over the Magpies last Friday night.

“I can’t really have Collingwood at four, can I? Because they might miss the eight and Brisbane just beat them,” Whateley told SEN’s Whateley.

“So I have to put the Brisbane Lions at four – I’m not a big subscriber on the Lions, the Harris Andrews injury worries me enormously.

“I don’t know what they look like when it comes to the key games at the end (of the season), so they it at four but I’m not a big subscriber.”
