2020-09-16T14:44+10:00

Out-of-contract Essendon defender Adam Saad is attracting interest from multiple Victorian clubs.

Saad is yet to re-sign with the Bombers who have reportedly offered the 26-year-old a four-year deal.

According to Fox Footy, Melbourne is interested in Saad and are monitoring his contract situation at Essendon.

It’s understood the Demons will move for Saad if he intends on leaving the Bombers during the off-season.

Two more Melbourne-based clubs are reportedly keeping tabs on the former Sun.

According to AFL Media, North Melbourne and Carlton have also expressed interest in Saad.

"It’s of my belief that North Melbourne is one of the clubs that rival teams think has a really big interest in Adam Saad at the moment,” AFL Media reporter Riley Beveridge told AFL.com.au’s The Trade Desk.

“And also Carlton, another club that has interest in Adam Saad.”

Saad has played 60 of his 108 AFL games for Essendon since his move from Gold Coast at the end of 2017.
