Will these players stay or go during the off-season?

2020-09-22T09:15+10:00

The silly season is fast approaching.

Andy Maher and Bob Murphy have gone through free agents, pre-agents and contracted players and whether they will be on the move this off-season as things stand.

“We’re going to do a thing called Here and Now, because it’s that time of the year,” Maher told SEN’s Bob and Andy.

“We won’t do every single player but we’ll do those on a front line.”

“Staying or going? And we both have the right to change our minds on this many, many times.”

See the players below:

Joe Daniher (restricted free agent) – Go (Murphy)

Linked to Sydney and Brisbane.

Adam Saad (out of contract) – Stays (Maher)

Linked to Carlton, North Melbourne and Melbourne.

“A little birdie told me that if he does go, the Demons are the destination.” (Murphy)

Jack Viney (restricted free agent) – Stays (Murphy)

Linked to Geelong.

Orazio Fantasia (contracted until 2021) – Go (Maher)

Linked to Adelaide.

“If one of the Adelaide teams wants him, off you go, see you later.”

Jeremy Cameron (restricted free agent) - Go (Murphy)

Linked with a return to Victoria.

“I’m just thinking he might go. It’s just tipping over that side of the scales.”

Ben Brown (out of contract) – Go (Maher)

Essendon, Brisbane and Collingwood loom as potential suitors.

Jared Polec (contracted until 2023) – Stay (Murphy)

“Because of the price tag and the length of the contract, who is going to take that on?”

Jaidyn Stephenson (contracted until 2021) – Stays (Maher)

Adam Treloar (contracted until 2021) – Stays (Murphy)

Brad Crouch (restricted free agent) – Go (Murphy)

Linked to Geelong and Essendon.
