Adelaide is continuing to track out-of-contract GWS Giants midfielder Jackson Hately as he prepares to make a call on his future.
On the back of Giants teammates Aidan Corr and Zac Williams leaving the club in recent weeks, the SA-born Hately still remains unsigned heading into next year and could follow Corr and Williams out the door at GWS.
As a result of being limited to just 13 games from two seasons since being taken with pick 14 in the 2018 National Draft, the Herald Sun reports that Adelaide could snare the midfield talent for free in the pre-season draft if a trade isn’t able to be done.
SEN Chief Sports Reporter Sam Edmund said earlier this month that Hately was a "prime recruiting target" for Adelaide.
It’s set to be a busy off-season for the Crows after their bottom-placed finish in 2020, with Hately just one of several moves the club could make during the trade and free agency period.
The future of Adelaide free agent Brad Crouch also remains uncertain as several clubs circle the gun midfielder.
