Todd Goldstein is determined to play out his career at North Melbourne and stay loyal to the Kangaroos.
Goldstein, who remains one of the premier ruckmen in the competition, has been raised as another potential departure from Arden Street as the club embarks on its ruthless revamp.
The Roos last month delisted 11 players, while Goldstein’s experienced teammates Ben Brown and Shaun Higgins will be traded and playing elsewhere next year.
But the influential big man decided several weeks ago he wanted to stay with the Roos.
It’s also understood club chiefs have no intention of trading the 32-year-old.
Goldstein last year rejected a four-year contract from Geelong to sign a three-year deal at North Melbourne and he remains committed to being a one-club player.
