Out-of-contract GWS midfielder Jackson Hately has requested a trade to Adelaide.
Since being taken with pick 14 in the 2018 National Draft by the Giants, the 19-year-old has played 13 games across two years.
The on-baller featured six times this season, averaging 13 touches and four marks.
“Jackson has informed the club of his hope to return to South Australia so we will now investigate trade options with a view to getting the best possible outcome for the Giants,” GWS football boss Jason McCartney said.
As reported by SEN’s Sam Edmund last month, the SA-born teenager was made a “priority” signing by the Crows as they look to add more players during the upcoming trade and free agency period.
