Richmond’s Oleg Markov is believed to be considering an approach from the Gold Coast Suns.
AFL Media’s Mitch Cleary is reporting that the Suns are showing interest in the fringe Tiger who is out of contact this year.
The 24-year-old rebounding half-back has struggled to force his way in at Richmond over the past five seasons, playing just 23 games.
He has managed six this year, but was omitted prior to the final home-and-away game of the season.
If the speedy defender were to leave Punt Road, he would link up with two-time premiership Tiger Brandon Ellis on the Gold Coast.
Markov has found himself behind the likes of Bachar Houli, Jayden Short and Liam Baker in recent years and is believed to be considering his future and a possible shift to Queensland.
