Brisbane defender Darcy Gardiner is a late omission for tonight’s Preliminary Final against Geelong due to a knee injury.
Jack Payne comes into the side after Gardiner failed a late fitness test at the Gabba.
Lions GM of Football David Noble said the club weren't going to take any risks ahead of the crucial clash.
“My own philosophy is you don’t bring injured players in,” Noble told AFL Nation pre-match.
“If they can’t deliver what they need to, you need to make the call and bring another player in.”
Payne has played four times in 2020 and last featured for the Lions against Carlton in Round 18.
