Noah Anderson was overshadowed early in 2020 by Matt Rowell, but was right in the mix for the MEGT Australia Rookie of the Year award by the conclusion of the season.
The number two pick in the 2019 National Draft averaged 16 disposals, three inside 50s and three marks per game and played all 17 in his debut year for the Suns.
In the end, Anderson came a very close second in the MEGT Australia Rookie of the Year award and established himself as a key part of Gold Coast’s starting midfield.
Australian football Hall of Famer Terry Wallace gave out five votes every round to first-year players based on their round-by-round performance.
With Rowell returning in 2020 and another haul of draft picks on the way, the future on the Gold Coast looks bright.
