North Melbourne forward Ben Brown has met with Melbourne, according to The Age.
Brown and Demons officials reportedly held a virtual meeting in recent weeks with the forward set to undergo a medical.
The 27-year-old was put up for trade after contract talks between his management and the Kangaroos broke down.
Brown kicked over 60 goals for three consecutive seasons, but a knee injury restricted him to just nine games in 2020.
He has booted 287 goals in 130 games across seven seasons at Arden Street.
