West Tigers’ highest ever points scorer Joel Caine will spearhead "SEN Origin" and its hard and fast ‘neutral’ call alongside 300-gamer Brett Kimmorley on Sydney’s New Home of Sport 1170 SEN, 1116 SEN Melbourne and 1629 SEN SA plus Western Australian relays.
“I reckon I got the gig to do the impartial call because I was conceived in QLD but born in NSW,” Caine said.
Die-hard Blues fans can hear an unashamedly biased "Blues Radio" call from two of the game’s greats – Steve ‘Blocker’ Roach and Jimmy Smith on the SEN app and throughout more than 20 regional NSW stations and 2SM Sydney, plus SENTrack's own 1575 Wollongong.
“I’m pretty confident it’ll be a Blues victory and I plan to call it as biased as I possibly can. I’ll have no problem harnessing the hatred,” said the great Blocker Roach.
One-eyed Queensland fans can hear a parochial "Maroons Radio" call from former greats of the game and expert commentators including Origin and Kangaroos legend Gary Belcher, 2003 Grand Final hero Scott Sattler and leading commentator Mark Braybrook on the SEN app and over 15 regional QLD stations, plus SENTrack stations Brisbane 1053 AM and Gold Coast 1620 AM.
“I’m tipping a mighty Maroons victory next week with 10 fresh debutantes including some young superstars coming into the side. We’ll fire up on the referees and promise listeners the most parochial Maroons call going,” Belcher said.
