Exhausted from the trade deadline?
Well there may be more to come as the AFL considers a second exchange window.
The Age is reporting that the AFL may give teams another period to deal once list sizes and salary cap numbers are finalised.
The second trade window would be brief, but it would give clubs a chance to mop up any business that fell through due to all the uncertainty.
It may also give a team like Essendon a second shot at securing Josh Dunkley from the Western Bulldogs.
At this stage, the report suggests the AFL is simply exploring the idea as we approach the National Draft.
The Age also reported on Thursday morning that list sizes for 2021 will be cut to a maximum of 44 and a minimum of 37, with the salary cap cut to be between nine and 10 per cent.
