2020-11-17T13:55+11:00

The race to become North Melbourne’s new senior coach is reportedly down to three.

According to The Herald Sun, Daniel Giansiracusa, David Noble and Robert Harvey are the final three candidates vying for the vacant Kangaroos coaching position.

Giansiracusa, the reigning AFL Coaches Association Assistant Coach of the Year, recently joined Essendon’s coaching staff after five seasons as an assistant coach at the Western Bulldogs.

It’s understood the 38-year-old has been given permission by the Bombers to pursue the North Melbourne job.

Noble, Brisbane’s GM of Football, and Collingwood assistant coach Harvey are gunning for the job along with Giansiracusa.

According to The Age, the Roos hope to announce a new senior coach within the next fortnight prior to the National Draft.
