Rendell’s Trade Grades - Fremantle

2020-11-20T11:22+11:00

Former AFL recruiter Matt Rendell has delivered his assessments of each of the 18 clubs and their performances in the recent Trade Period.

It was a fairly quiet period for Fremantle who would be happy with their overall squad and quality youth coming through.

See Rendell's Tyrepower Trade Grade for the Dockers below:

Trade Grade: D

Rendell says:
Very difficult to rate Fremantle because they had no intention of being a major player and lived up to it.

Moved on Jesse Hogan for nothing, giving them more space in their TTP to pre-pay players as I would not think they are close to paying 95% of their TPP. They will need some funds in a year or two to keep their good young players.

Improvement will arrive from within as they had many good players injured for the whole year and Justin Longmuir, the first year coach, while great this year will be better again next year.
