Collingwood defender announces retirement

Collingwood defender Tom Langdon has reportedly announced his retirement.

The Age is reporting that the defender has succumbed to ongoing injury issues and made the call to end his career.

It adds that Langdon will officially be delisted by the Magpies for the purposes of list management.

The 26-year-old played 89 games for Collingwood as a defender before degenerative knee injuries derailed his career.
