With AFL lists now sorted heading into the 2021 season, Kane Cornes has revealed the three teams he would buy stocks in.
Looking at two buy-low candidates, Cornes sees Fremantle and Sydney as two teams who missed the eight last year who he believes are on the right track.
“If I was on the stock market and I was buying shares in a club, I’d buy shares in Fremantle,” Cornes told SEN SA Breakfast.
“I love the list that they’re building. It’s not going to be next year, but in the next couple of years.
“I’d certainly buy shares in the Sydney Swans.”
The former Port Adelaide midfielder is also a big fan of the list his old club has put together.
He added: “And I’ve already got a stack of shares in Port Adelaide.
“Can I get carried away for a minute? Port Adelaide don’t have one hole in their list. Not one.
“There’s not one need on Port Adelaide’s list.”
Port Adelaide won the minor premiership in 2020, rising from outside the top eight to do so.
They fell in the third week of finals by just six points to eventual premiers Richmond.
