Delisted North Melbourne forward Mason Wood will spend the summer training with St Kilda in a bid to earn an AFL lifeline.
Wood was delisted by the Roos after 65 games, eight in 2020, and dating back to 2013.
The 27-year-old was selected with pick 41 in the 2012 National Draft and showed promise early, but never put all the pieces together at the top level.
The Age is reporting that the Saints have vacant list spots they could utilise before the AFL’s upcoming Supplemental Selection Period closes on March 9th.
St Kilda added Brad Crouch, Jack Higgins and Shaun McKernan across the AFL’s trade and free agency period.
