Hawthorn forward Jon Patton has been admitted to hospital to assist in the management of his mental health.
Patton was stood down by the Hawks earlier in the week as multiple women came forward to claim he sent them explicit messages and photos without consent.
The 27-year-old has denied these accusations and has since deleted all of his social media platforms.
In a statement to 7 News, Patton’s management asked for privacy at this time.
“We can confirm that Jonathon Patton has been admitted to hospital to assist in the management of his ongoing mental health,” Connor Sports Management said.
“We hope that Jonathon’s privacy is respected at this time.”
