Port Adelaide has extended head coach Ken Hinkley's contract with the club that will see him through to at least the end of the 2023 season.
Club chairman David Koch said the board were thrilled to extend Hinkley’s contract and tie him to the club for the next three seasons.
“Ken has built a culture within our football program of care and connection. You could see how much the players were playing for each other and for Ken last season, and how much Ken savoured the success of his team,” Koch told the club website.
Hinkley guided Port Adelaide to its first preliminary final appearance in seven years in 2020 after the Power finished 10th in 2019.
Hinkley had a clause in his contract that required him to make finals in 2020 in order to be extended for 2021.
