Richmond champion, Geelong star among new AFL life members

The AFL will induct 12 new Life Members at the 2021 Annual General Meeting in March.

Among the new additions are current day players including Richmond champion and triple premiership player Jack Riewoldt, star Geelong goal kicker Tom Hawkins and former Port Adelaide captain Travis Boak.

Also inducted under the games qualification (300 overall games played, umpired or coached) is Power coach and ex-Cat Ken Hinkley, West Coast premiership captain Shannon Hurn, ex-Carlton skipper Marc Murphy, recently retired pair Harry Taylor and Justin Westhoff and former Adelaide, Brisbane and St Kilda ruckman and current Crows AFLW coach Matthew Clarke.

The Special Service to the Game inductees this year are 1980 Tigers flag winner Emmett Dunne, veteran Carlton administrator Shane O’Sullivan, AFL Boundary Umpire coach Darren Wilson.
