Star Geelong recruit Jeremy Cameron has suffered a minor hamstring injury after pulling up sore last week, according to The Age’s Sam McClure.
But the Cats hope that Cameron will make a swift recovery in time for the Round 1 meeting with Adelaide on March 20.
It’s a small setback for Cameron who joined Geelong from GWS as a restricted free agent on a lucrative long-term contract last year.
The 27-year-old forward is hoping to bounce back from a disappointing 2020 campaign where he booted a season-low 24 goals.
Cameron was given the famous No.5 jumper, previously worn by Geelong great Gary Ablett Snr.
