Richmond’s Liam Baker has been cleared of any wrongdoing stemming to a recent incident at a Melbourne nightclub, the Herald Sun is reporting.
The two-time premiership defender was capsicum-sprayed by a female patron at the Osborne Rooftop and Bar in South Yarra in the early hours of January 31.
It was initially reported that Baker had been involved in a verbal altercation with the woman.
However, he has since been cleared after an investigation which involved reviewing CCTV footage.
The Tigers have not commented on the specific details of the incident but have informed the Herald Sun that Baker, 23, was not in the wrong and that the “club now considered the matter finalised”.
