GWS defender Sam Reid has been offered a two-match suspension for his bump on Fremantle star Nat Fyfe.
Reid was charged with engaging in rough conduct with Match Review Officer Michael Christian grading the incident as careless conduct, high impact and high contact.
Fyfe was left concussed as a result of Reid’s bump and was substituted out of Sunday’s win over the Giants at Optus Stadium – the first player to be subbed out of a game due to concussion this season.
The dual Brownlow Medallist will miss Fremantle’s match against Carlton on Sunday under the AFL’s new 12-day concussion protocols.
Richmond midfielder Jack Graham was fined $1000 for making carless contact with an umpire during the Tigers’ victory over Hawthorn.
