Voss names surprise suitor for Adam Reynolds

2021-04-20T14:20+10:00

Andrew Voss believes Adam Reynolds could be headed to the Parramatta Eels.

The star halfback looks all but certain to leave South Sydney in search for a long-term deal and North Queensland, Brisbane and most recently Cronulla have emerged as potential destinations.

The Rabbitohs are refusing to budge on their one-year offer for the 30-year-old while Reynolds’ form and other reports suggests he could attract up to a three-year deal elsewhere.

Voss has no shortage of contacts in rugby league as a widely respected broadcaster and he told Katie Brown on SEN 1170 Breakfast that a source told him Reynolds could become an Eel, with Mitchell Moses departing the club.

“Here’s what a little birdie has told me. Adam Reynolds, the club that he will be heading to, is Parramatta,” Voss said.

“The mail is Mitchell Moses could be out of there. Maybe there’s some shuffling around in the background around the future of Mitchell Moses.

“Not that Parramatta aren’t happy with Mitchell Moses, but he might be headed out of Parramatta and Adam Reynolds may end up an Eel.”

Voss said he wasn’t sure where Moses will head if Reynolds arrives, but he expects there to be plenty of suitors for the 26-year-old playmaker.

“That I don’t know, but there’s plenty of clubs wanting halves,” Voss explained.

“I’m just saying there will be a moving around of the chess pieces regarding halfbacks.”

Moses currently has a player option in his contract for 2022 but the Sydney Morning Herald have reported that he will only trigger the clause if he sees his future in the blue and gold long term.
