SEN's Rolling All-Australian team Round 5 edition

2021-04-21T12:09+10:00

SEN’s Rolling All-Australian team returns for 2021!

This team will attempt to reward season-long performance, rather than jumping week to week based on standout individual efforts.

Obviously after five weeks of footy, the team is based on who has stood out early.

Expect the squad of 22 to be in flux until players separate themselves from the pack.

The team will slowly take shape across the season, culminating in a final and settled All-Australian team after Round 23.

The key defensive positions remain up for grabs, with Aliir Aliir now jumping in ahead of Liam Jones.

The same is true of the key forwards as Cale Hooker edges in front of Josh Kennedy. Jack Riewoldt also remains right on the cusp, while Harry McKay needs a big week to hold his spot.

Bulldogs stars Josh Dunkley and Marcus Bontempelli enter the team as their early season dominance sees coach Luke Beveridge also take over as the coach of the team.

Sydney's John Longmire served as the AA coach early in the first month.
