Mitchell Moses puts pressure on Parramatta as Broncos links persist

2021-04-22T12:10+10:00

Mitchell Moses has revealed he is hoping to stay at Parramatta after being linked to a Brisbane move next season.

The in-form number seven told Fox Sports on Wednesday that it’s up to the Eels to provide a suitable offer as he hopes to stay in blue and gold.

“I’ve left it fully up to (management) and I’m sure they’ll make the right decision by me and they’ll let me know when the right contract is ready to go and ready to sign,” Moses said.

“I’d love to stay at the Eels, that’s my main thing, I’ve made that clear to them but that’s up to them now if they want to keep me or if my management will sort it all out.”

SEN host Andrew Voss believes Moses should test the market as he could attract a big offer from a rival club.

“Mitchell Moses is remaining coy about his future,” Voss said on SEN 1170 Breakfast.

“He is hoping to stay at the Eels but is refusing to rule a move to a rival outfit.

“That’s fair enough, he’s a playmaker, he’s at the right age, he’s an attractive package for another club.

“I think he’s entitled to test the market.”

It is believed that Chad Townsend’s big deal at North Queensland will boost any potential offer the 26-year-old could attract on the open market.

Moses has a one-year option in his favour for 2022 at Parramatta but may opt to leave the club if they don’t make a suitable extension offer.
