David King and Sam Edmund have taken a close look at the fixture list for Round 6.

Round 6 Picks

Odds supplied by Play Up

GWS v Western Bulldogs

Kingy says: “I love this rivalry. It genuinely means something, they hate each other.

“I think the Dogs could make a statement. They’ll cover the line.”

Kingy’s pick: Bulldogs at the line (-20.5).

Sammy’s pick: Bulldogs at the line (-20.5).

Geelong v West Coast

Kingy says: “I’m not guaranteeing their midfield can stand up without Patrick Dangerfield. I know he hasn’t been there most of the season already.

“I’m a bit concerned about that. I’m going with the Eagles in a bit of an upset.”

Kingy’s pick: West Coast at the line (+11.5).

Sammy’s pick: West Coast at the line (+11.5).

Gold Coast v Sydney

Kingy says: “6.5 is tight. I was expecting a little buffer of three or four goals.

“That’s skinny, but it looks like a really good bet at -6.5.”

Kingy’s pick: Sydney at the line (-6.5).

Sammy’s pick: Sydney at the line (-6.5).

Carlton v Brisbane

Kingy says: “I think the Lions are in a different weight range, a different class.

“I’ve got little confidence in the Bluebaggers. I’ve got more faith in the Lions.”

Kingy’s pick: Lions at the line (-6.5).

Sammy says: “I’m going to take a risk here. I think it’s going to click for the Blues at some stage.

“I’m keeping the faith.”

Sammy’s pick: Blues at the line (+6.5).

Melbourne v Richmond

Kingy says: “The Tigers love these challenges.

“They’ll make a statement Saturday night. I really think the Tigers will get absolutely steamrolling here.

“Pressure through the roof, harassment through the roof, brutal on turnover.”

Kingy’s pick: Tigers at the line (-5.5).

Sammy says: “I love what Melbourne have done but I think the Tigers will be right up for this one and put a challenger back in their box.”

Sammy’s pick: Tigers at the line (-5.5).

Fremantle v North Melbourne

Kingy says: “The Kangaroos were a lot better last week.

“I’m going to stick with them. There’ll be a game where it all clicks.”

Kingy’s pick: North at the line (+43.5).

Sammy says: “I think they can cover that and be competitive enough to get within 43.5.”

Sammy’s pick: North at the line (+43.5).

Hawthorn v Adelaide

Kingy says: “I’ve got a lot of confidence in Hawthorn in Tassie. They’re hard to beat down there.”

Kingy’s pick: Hawks at the line (-9.5).

Sammy says: “I’m backing Adelaide to get within 9.5 of the Hawks.

“They might well go on and win the game, of course.”

Sammy’s pick: Crows at the line (+9.5).

Collingwood v Essendon

Kingy says: “Jordan Ridley is a huge out, he holds everything together down back.

“Collingwood aren’t playing that bad a football. I think they’re going to get hold of Essendon.”

Kingy’s pick: Magpies at the line (-4.5).

Sammy’s pick: Magpies at the line (-4.5).

Port Adelaide v St Kilda

Kingy says: “I give the Saints a chance, but they’ve got to play the football that has a defensive foundation to it.

“I want to se them get back to their ruthless style of football. I give the Saints a chance to win this game.

“You have to go with Port on what you’ve seen but this is a real upset type game.”

Kingy’s pick: Saints at the line (+27.5).

Sammy says: “I’m extending the olive branch to the Saints. I think they can get within 27.5.”

Sammy’s pick: Saints at the line (+27.5).

All of Kingy’s picks in a multi: $317
