The Melbourne Storm have been dealt a double injury blow with Cameron Munster and Harry Grant both expected to miss the next two weeks.
The star duo will miss this Sunday’s Magic Round clash with St George Illawarra and the following week’s game against Canberra at GIO Stadium.
Munster sprained his foot in the 50-point win against South Sydney while Grant tore his hamstring at training on Monday.
Storm football boss Frank Ponissi said that the club were hopeful for a Round 12 return against Brisbane for the pair via a club statement.
"That would be best case scenario for both Cameron and Harry," Ponissi said.
"If that doesn’t happen we expect they would both be okay for the opening State of Origin match in Melbourne."
The Storm currently sit third on the NRL table with a 7-2 record having won six straight games.
