Jason Castagna is poised to sign a new contract at Richmond.
The goalsneak will commit to a two-year deal to stay at the Tigers, keeping him at Punt Road until at least the end of 2023.
A triple premiership player, Castagna has been one of the many rookie draft success stories at Richmond after being plucked with pick 29 in 2015.
The dangerous forward has gone on to play 106 games and kick 108 goals since.
Castagna’s looming signature follows the new deals for star trio Dylan Grimes, Nick Vlastuin and Dion Prestia, but the Tigers have several key players unsigned beyond this year.
Shai Bolton, Shane Edwards, Jack Riewoldt and Daniel Rioli are among those still to finalise new deals.
