Footage has emerged of Hawthorn defender Kyle Hartigan elbowing Carlton star Sam Walsh off the ball late in Saturday’s match at the MCG.
Hartigan felled Walsh with an elbow to the head deep inside Carlton’s forward 50 with a member of the crowd filming the incident.
Walsh slowly picked himself up just before the final siren blew. No field umpire witnessed Hartigan’s strike.

Hartigan was fined $2000 for a late hit on Geelong forward Tom Hawkins earlier this season.
Walsh starred in Carlton’s 23-point win over the Hawks, collecting 30 disposals, seven score involvements, six tackles and a goal.
