2021-06-09T15:16+10:00

The man synonymous with Football commentary in this country, Simon Hill returns to call the start of the 2021 A-League finals series this Saturday night on 1170 SEN.

Hill will be joined by Central Coast Mariners legend, Adam Kwasnik to commentate the opening match of the finals, with the Mariners set to take on finals debutantes Macarthur Football Club. The call will be live this Saturday on 1170 SEN and available across 801am SENTrack Central Coast, from 6:30-9:00pm.

The Mariners, fresh off the back of three straight wooden spoons, will have something to prove this weekend and will have the hometown advantage with the game taking place at their home ground in Gosford.

Hill is very excited to get back behind the microphone, "Saturday should be a cracking atmosphere for the Mariners first home final in seven years against new boys Macarthur", he said.

SEN's Content Manager Jeremy Markham "Simon Hill’s voice is synonymous with the most memorable moments in Australian football history, he’s revered among football fans, and it is an honour to have him behind the microphone for the finals".

With the highest number of young players participating in A-League history, this year’s Finals Series presents a glorious opportunity for young Australian players to make a name for themselves and become heroes.

The spotlight narrows to a pair of Elimination Finals this weekend, then two Semi Finals, before the A-League 2021 Grand Final on Saturday 26 June.

You can listen live on 1170 SEN or via the SEN App, or download the show podcast.
