Hawthorn midfielder Jaeger O’Meara could face MRO scrutiny for a high bump on Sydney’s Will Hayward.
Both players were contesting the ball in the second quarter of Friday night’s game, with the Swan coming off second best following contact to his head.
Jordan Lewis doesn’t believe O’Meara will have much to worry about, however.
“I mean, live it looks like a fair contest. The ball is there and two players are going for the ball,” he told AFL Nation.
“The knock from O’Meara might have forced his head back into the player behind him.”
Gerard Healy agreed, saying: “It just looked like O’Meara was going a bit harder for the ball than anyone else.”
Hayward came from the ground and was later substituted out of the game with a concussion.
