Report: Dual premiership player makes surprise local footy appearance

2021-06-15T17:35+10:00

Dual AFL premiership player Lewis Jetta made a surprise appearance in the Perth Football League on Saturday, reports the West Australian.

Jetta, who was delisted by West Coast at the end of last season, played alongside brothers Graham and Aaron for C2-Grade side High Wycombe against Swan Valley at Swan Valley Sporting Complex.

The premiership Swan and Eagle hasn’t played for WAFL club Swan Districts since Round 7 after receiving a one-match suspension for rough conduct against Subiaco.

He missed the Round 8 match against East Fremantle and was a late withdrawal from the Round 9 game against Peel Thunder.

Swan Districts had the bye on the weekend.

Jetta, 32, played 202 AFL games across 11 seasons with Sydney and West Coast.
