Brisbane midfielder Lachie Neale has suffered a strained calf, according to SEN Chief Reporter Sam Edmund.
The 2020 Brownlow Medallist, who had surgery on an ankle injury earlier in the year, has already spent a significant portion of the season on the sidelines.
“He’s done a calf. He’s strained his calf, I’m told,” Edmund told SEN Breakfast.
“I’m told it could be a 2-3 week injury, but it’s also been described as minor.
“He’s in danger of missing a couple of weeks of football. He’s had a tough year.”
Brisbane takes on Adelaide this weekend at the Adelaide Oval and are currently in Melbourne because of COVID issues in Queensland.
They trained at Carlton’s Princes Park on Wednesday.
