Three NBA heavyweights are reportedly in pursuit of Boomers star and San Antonio Spurs guard Patty Mills.
NBA reporter Marc Stein understands that the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets are interested in Mills, who is currently representing Australia in the Tokyo Olympics.
Further to that, Anthony Slater from The Athletic is reporting that the Golden State Warriors are also keen on the 32-year-old free agent and 2014 NBA champion.
Mills is averaging 21.6 points and 5.6 assists for the Boomers at the Olympics and will be key in Tuesday night’s quarter-final against Argentina.
The Australian averaged 10.8 points and 2.4 assists in 24.8 minutes per game last NBA season.
The Warriors also have interest in Patty Mills, I'm told. Could shape up to be a chase with the taxpayer mid-level. https://t.co/Rss7MMRJnQ
