Matthew Lloyd has named eight players who should consider moving on from their current clubs for greater opportunity.

Speaking on Sportsday, the Essendon great has named three Western Bulldogs players among the list, highlighting the club’s depth.

Two Cats also feature for similar reasons.

Read his thoughts on who should consider a trade below:

Charlie Constable (Geelong)

“I hope a club gives him a chance next year.”

Tom Lynch (Adelaide)

“29 disposals on the weekend and seven marks and he will make your football club better, he’s a quality human being.”

Mitch Wallis (Western Bulldogs)

“Another great human being for your football club and vice-captain of the Western Bulldogs, Mitch Wallis.”

“Didn’t it turn quickly for him after such a great year last year.”

Mabior Chol (Richmond)

“There’s no room for Tom Lynch, Toby Nankervis, Jack Riewoldt, Callum Coleman-Jones … so this man, Mabior Chol, I think Richmond has shown their hand that Coleman-Jones is their man.”

“I think (Chol) is more of a ruckman. I’d say $350,000, you’d get him cheap. He’s not getting a game.”

Pat Lipinski (Western Bulldogs)

“A Western Bulldogs smooth-mover, Pat Lipinski, who I think would be good in another environment where he gets more opportunity.”

Ed Richards (Western Bulldogs)

“Carey Grammar, a red-head off half-back, he was unbelievable Ed Richards.”

“I think he gets played out of position. He should be on a half-back flank, they’ve played him on the half-forward line. As good as Luke Beveridge is, I think he plays some players out of position and he’s one of them.”

Quinton Narkle (Geelong)

“He’s the man who’s always the sub at Geelong.”

Sam Weideman (Melbourne)

“I know he’s got to improve, but Sam Weideman, I think he’s worth in the $500,000 range to another team.”
