St Kilda is keen to bolster their big-man stocks in the upcoming trade period, according to a report.
AFL Media’s Riley Beveridge is reporting that the Saints are keeping an eye on out of contract Sydney ruckman Hayden McLean.
McLean has previous experience in the St Kilda system, having spent a year at Sandringham before the Swans swooped on him as a rookie.
The 22-year-old is currently unsigned and could be a victim of the reported salary cap squeeze at the Swans.
Current St Kilda ruck/forward Shaun McKernan announced his retirement on Wednesday, while Paddy Ryder will be 34 next season.
Star ruckman Rowan Marshall has been in and out of the side this year with injury issues.
